Booking Colours

Our roster and agenda screens are rather colourful. These colours are useful indicators of the current status and type of each booking. At a glance, these provide a fast insight into which bookings require further steps, what needs actioning, and what's going well.

Each booking has two different colours on the roster and agenda:

  • The underline (bar) colours indicate booking types

  • The background colours indicate booking statuses

Underline (Bar) Colours for Booking Types

The underline (bar) colour below each booking indicates its type, such as purple (by default) for personal care and orange (by default) for domestic care. If you navigate to Bookings Types, you'll find a list of your booking types and their assigned colours. Clicking on a booking type here enables you to change the booking type colours as needed. For more information on booking types and their colours, read more here: Booking Types.

Background Colours for Booking Statuses

The background colour for each booking indicates its status, such as light grey (by default) for unallocated and purple (by default) for incomplete. If you navigate to Settings Roster Colours, you'll find a list of your booking statuses and their current colours, and you can change the hex codes for each booking status to suit your company's brand.

Throughout the day, the booking status may change, and its background colour will change accordingly with it whenever the roster screen next refreshes. You can enable auto-refresh in your roster settings too. Read more about the roster settings here: Roster Settings.

In the table below, you'll find the most common booking statuses, the default colour they appear on the roster and agenda (before they're changed), what it means for your office staff and carers, and the steps you'll need to take to resolve each one appropriately:

ℹ️ The above table shows the default colours for the most common booking statuses. If your colours have been changed in Settings Roster Colours, then they may not match the colours shown.
