Some of your clients may have multiple addresses where their care takes place. You are able to add multiple addresses that can be used for visits. This means carers can check in and out of bookings without it flagging up as the wrong address and that any mileage payments can be adjusted accordingly.
Setting up an alternate address
To set up an alternate address, head to Clients > [Client name] > Profile. At the bottom of the page you will see a section marked <Addresses>.
This will show you the address(es) that have been input for this client. By clicking the <+> button, you can add extra addresses if you provide care at other locations for the client.
Once another address has been added to the system, you will need to select a default. This is the address where bookings will be made to. If this is not the intended visit address, you must create the booking first, then change the address afterwards.
Selecting an alternate address for visits
To select the alternate address for a visit, you need to have a booking already made. This will be scheduled for the default address. To change this, go to roster or agenda, double click on a visit and select <View>.
Click on the address at the right hand side and a drop down menu will appear allowing you to select the address you need.
Select the alternate address and click <Save>. This is now the set address for where the call is to take place. The carer's app will be updated with the location information once this has happened.
The booking will now show the updated address.
